Thanks to All Our Loyal Supporters
After 7 years, and 23 Project Support Grants awarded, TheDocumentaryProjectFund is calling it a day. We feel very proud to have supported talented documentary photographers all around the world. We will continue to promote our awardees as best we can, but the challenges of fundraising have gotten the best of us. While we would have loved to continue, we just can’t raise the funds needed for twice yearly calls for submissions. We want to thank our loyal donors. You should know that the work you funded was not just beautiful, but important to communities.
We ask only this. Please find an arts nonprofit that you believe in and do what you can to support it. Know that whatever you give will be appreciated. We at TheDPF will also continue to support the arts organizations we love. Remember, art can change lives and we hope we have contributed a bit toward improving communities and supporting great artists.
About TheDPF
We provide Project Support Grants to photographers working in their communities on issues they are passionate about, that impact peoples’ lives and that have both local and global relevance.
Call-for-Entries
Twice a year, we award two Project Support Grants, the Established Artist Award and the Emerging Vision Award.
Awardees
Since our founding in 2012, we have awarded grants to 19 photographers all over the world. Their projects deal with many topics in different ways, but all use photography to give us insights into other peoples’ lives and help us find our common humanity.
