Themed Award: The Economic Divide
Dustin Chambers grew up in Atlanta and has long been dedicated to working in his own backyard. He combines this passion with freelancing jobs for publications such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and The Chronicle of Higher Education to name a few.
Along with this work, Dustin enjoys working with young people on projects such as a rap music video at a high school and setting up a camera obscura in a junior high school science class.
Of his funded project, Beyond the Dome, Dustin says, “ The project has been an independent one that I officially started in 2015 and plan to continue for years to come. I am passionate about using my skills to tell important stories about social issues and community.”
